TAM model

This framework helps to understand how and why people adopt new technology. This model was developed by Devis et al. (1989). it is widely used in information systems and technology management. This model predicts how likely users will adopt technology on the basis of Behavioural intention. It has applied in various areas of research, i.e., Banking, IT sector, Mobile application, etc.

Key components of TAM model

  • Perceived usefulness : It refers to the degree to which a person believes that using particular technology improves their job performance. when there is usefulness of technology, there is higher chance to adopt particular technology.
  • Perceived ease of use : It refer to the extent to which a person believes how easy particular technology to use or free of effort, the more ease of technology is there, the more adoption chance will be.
